Elisabeth Blanchet has always loved taking pictures of people and places. Documenting other people's lives has become her job. Based in London, she has been working as a freelance photographer since 2002.

Elisabeth is currently working on her collection of photographs of people who continue to live in the 1944 "temporary" prefabricated bungalows around Britain, to document the Prefabs - Palaces for the People.

Elisabeth regularly works with Time Out London and other UK papers and magazines. She also contributes to the continental press, such as Le Figaro, Le Soir, l'Agefi, Cote Ouest, Marie-Claire, and Groupe Bayard-Presse. She either gets commissioned, or pitches stories and ideas.

Elisabeth has private and corporate clients, and personal projects, which find their place in magazines, books, and websites. So she keeps on doing them! Music and movies feed her work to the point of obsession.
